We were a little short on votes, but this campaign and this movement we have begun will forever change our district.
At the Ojha Campaign, we are beyond proud that nearly 1800 people saw the vision of a 22-year old newcomer and aimed to see those dreams come true. Maternal leave has become an issue our voters have voiced their concerns for, and just because HEB ISD Board Trustee does not follow her name, Aisha Ojha will continue to fight for those goals. These voters will never be forgotten.
We wish all the best and send our congratulations to Fred Campos for retaining his seat. Your wisdom and drive to help our school district is commendable and we will continue to work with him in the future.
Thank you to our voters, mentors, volunteers, donors and to Aisha Ojha herself. You are a leader in our eyes, and we can not wait to see what we will do next.
Our page and website will still be up and we will document the activism Aisha plans on doing post-Election Day, starting June 1st 2019. We hope you continue to support and take part in her future endeavors.
From all of us at the Ojha Campaign, thank you for a journey of a life time, and we can’t wait to work with you all next time around.
Thank you so much,
Tulsi Ram Lohani
