Aisha Ojha is a Nepali native, having moved here in 2008 at the age of 12 with her parents and little brother, with 8 large bags filled with masala, lentils, and clothes. Aisha is currently 22 years old, making her one of the youngest and the first Nepalese-American woman to run for public office in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Aisha went to Sam Houston Middle School, Jack E. Singley Academy and eventually graduated from North Hills Preparatory in 2013. Aisha graduated from UT Arlington in 2017 with a Bachelors in Social Work & Masters in School Work in 2018, specializing in Mental Health and Substance Abuse.
Aisha is a small business owner, being the founder and head instructor at the Mandala Dance Studio in Hurst, TX.
Other positions she holds is the Nepalese Society of Texas Women Coordinator and children's Summer Camp Director. In 2018, Aisha was announced as the Soarway Foundation Goodwill Ambassador, run by former Ambassador Scott DeLisi.
